Carrier registration is required before an eligible business number can deliver application-to-person text messages through US carriers. Wave may allow you to prepare contacts, templates, Blasts, campaigns, and configuration bundles while registration is pending, but business SMS sending can remain restricted until approval is complete.
This guide covers carrier/SMS registration. It does not establish whether pending registration restricts email access at the Wave account level. Confirm your account's email sending requirements with Phound Support, and use Email Templates for the email composition workflow.

How to Recognize a Pending Account
Wave displays a notice when registration is still under review or when messaging requirements have not been met. In that state:
- prepare and review your Wave setup
- keep campaigns disabled
- do not rely on a pending number for live delivery tests
- wait for the account's approved sending number before enabling sends
Before a Live SMS Send
Confirm all of the following:
- The intended Wave sending number is available in the sender selector.
- Carrier registration for that number is approved.
- The message matches the approved use case and consent process.
- The audience contains only eligible contacts.
- Broadcast hours and message timing have been reviewed.
- A live test has succeeded from the account that will send the message.
Message Usage
Wave displays current message usage near the persona name in the sidebar. The allowance and renewal date can vary by account, so use the values shown in your own Wave workspace instead of relying on a fixed number in documentation.
Do not treat that display as confirmation of email pricing or email allowance consumption. Confirm email access, limits, and charges for your account before a live email send.
If the registration status or available sender does not look correct, contact Phound Support before enabling a campaign or scheduling a Blast.
