Account Restrictions and Identity Verification
If Phound asks you to verify your identity before calling or texting a regular phone number, those outgoing calls and texts are restricted until your identity is verified. Follow the verification prompt in Phound.
Once your identity is verified, this particular verification restriction no longer applies.
When Phound asks you to verify your identity
This guidance applies when a verification prompt appears as you try to place a call or send a text to a regular phone number.
- Open the identity verification prompt shown in Phound.
- Follow the instructions in that prompt to complete identity verification.
- Once your identity is verified, try your call or text again.
Completing verification removes this verification requirement for outgoing calls and texts. It does not guarantee that a separate account restriction or calling or messaging problem is resolved.
If your identity is already verified
This verification restriction does not apply to an account whose identity is already verified. If you still see a verification prompt or cannot place a call or send a text, contact Phound Support with the exact message shown in the app.
If you see a different restriction message
Follow the specific message shown in Phound. The verification instructions above apply to the identity verification prompt. For a different restriction, or a message you do not understand, contact Phound Support for help with your account.
What to include when asking for help
Tell Support:
